At HyWaves, we may be a modest-sized organisation, but we build relationships around the world with companies and individuals who share our vision for low-cost green hydrogen. In March 2025 Dr Thomas Delaney, one of the company’s co-founders, was in China to visit two exciting companies we are building partnerships with to accelerate our technical development and commercial timeline. We are delighted to announce that we have signed an MOU agreement with ZTTCE Hydrogen, a business group of ZTT Group developing and building hydrogen systems. This project marks a significant milestone as it will feature the first ZTTCE electrolyser deployed in the UK, paving the way for future advancements in green hydrogen production in collaboration with HyWaves.
We will integrate our high-efficiency DC power management system with the BP Lightsource/5B supported 48 kW photovoltaic array, with ZTTCE Hydrogen providing a customised variable-control design electrolyser system. The project team will showcase a system to reduce energy loss in photovoltaic hydrogen production systems and increase hydrogen production.
The experimental ZTTCE unit is expected to arrive in the UK at the end of April 2025 and will be available for demonstration to our UK/EU-based stakeholders. Strategic partnerships such as this will bring benefits to all, by accelerating innovation in technologies that meet both the environmental and commercial need for lower-cost green hydrogen.
